Accountant / Operations Manager

Kochi, Kerala, India

Farscan’s operations team is looking for an Operations manager for our new Indian office in Kochi.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Day to day book keeping for Farscan corporate and clients – Domestic & Overseas Payroll, G/L, Inventory maintenance.
  • E-commerce product costing, pricing and channel performance management
  • Oversee telemarketing & tele-support team’s operations queue & track performance.
  • Ensure local office & personnel adherence to corporate / client policies & procedures

Requirements for the Accountant / Operations Manager position include:

  • At least 4 years of Accounting or Financial background with a thorough knowledge of small business accounting packages such as PeachTree, Mint or QuickBooks.
  • Prior experience in General Ledger, Payroll and Inventory control management.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and ability to communicate with overseas team members, vendors and clients.
  • Project management / Operations experience in a client service / retail industry preferred.
  • Must be capable of self-direction and able to work without constant supervision.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS-Access.
  • Prior experience with online CRM tools a plus
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
